Get Registered to Vote

Am I registered to vote?

If you don’t know whether you’re registered to vote, you can check on your voter registration here. This will tell you whether you are registered to vote and where you should go to vote on election day. If you recently moved (or moved a long time ago and never updated your voter registration), you’ll find out.

You can register to vote, or update your voter registration, using this form, which you can use to change your address or party to the Democratic Party. You then mail it in to the Board of Elections:

Onondaga County
Board of Elections

1000 Erie Blvd West
Syracuse, New York 13204

You have until October 11, 2019 to register or update your registration, but don’t delay!

What about Early Voting, Absentee Voting, and Election Day Voting?

This will be the first year of early voting, beginning on Saturday, October 26, 2019 and lasting until Sunday, November 3, 2019. You can vote at any of the 6 early voting locations, so look at all locations to see which is the most convenient for you. The hours of operation vary by day. The closest early voting location to Cicero will be the Clay Town Hall:

CLAY TOWN HALL Courtroom (rear entrance)
4401 Route 31
Clay, New York 13041

If you plan to be out of town on election day, you can call the Board of Elections and they will send you an absentee ballot: 315-435-VOTE (8683)

If you want to vote on election day, that’s Tuesday November 5, 2019, and your voter registration determines your polling place!
